While visiting a friend in Colorado, YouTube comedian Tom Mabe found himself face to face with an unexpected visitor: a beautiful adult mountain lion. The big cat gave Mabe's wife quite a fright ... but the resident house cat didn't seem to mind!
Although humans and cougars often share the same turf, these big cats are not usually aggressive and rarely attack unless provoked. However, as US cities spread and cougar habitat shrinks, sightings like this may become more common and could lead to further persecution of a species that is already known to be in decline.
