What do seagulls, lions and eagles have in common? They all seem to have a tendency to snatch GoPro cameras when no one is looking. The latest animal culprit caught in the act is a crab with directorial dreams. This crustacean initially seems a little reluctant to do the deed, so if you want to skip ahead to the action, jump to 1:38.
Video uploader Diederick Ryan describes the incident:
"Bored in Paradise ... [I] set my GoPro Hero 3 up outside one of the crab holes at a dive resort in Fiji (Mai Dive). I used the new GoPro app and wifi to sit and wait for the crab to appear and hit record from the building in the background. It all looked great until he disappeared with the camera down his hole. As I ran over I was at least glad to still see the app on my phone showing daylight (the shot of the palm trees). He tried to drag it down further as I went to grab it, almost taking it too far out of reach but luckily I got it just in time. Glad everyone enjoys the vid as much as we did."
