Life smacks us all in the face every once in a while. But only rarely does that slap come courtesy of a rogue flying fish.
That's how things played out for Welsh vlogger Aimee recently while she was out covering the extreme weather caused by storm "Gertrude". Gertrude is raging along the coast of Scotland and north England, but it appears the tempest has roused more than just water and wind.
The wayward fish came sailing into view propelled by an unexpected wave (points for style). Some media outlets have reported that the slippery culprit was a flying fish (family Exocoetidae), but it seems this was just an imposter who took to the sky quite unintentionally.
Aimee has since recovered, but we fear things didn't end quite as well for the fish.
