Managing a croc farm is definitely not for the faint-hearted ... Just ask Peter Watson, owner of Crocodile Creek in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, who recently endured a harrowing attack from one of these massive reptiles.

The Earth Touch crew were visiting Crocodile Creek to film croc hatchlings, and as the day's shoot was winding to a close, things went a little awry. The video above shows Peter cautiously circling a female croc in an attempt to get her away from the hatchlings, when she lunges forward unexpectedly, snapping her jaws around his foot. 

Fortunately for Peter, the croc was scared off and he escaped without suffering any major injuries.

Don't try this at home, folks.
