Quick: what do you get when you combine a bit of light, some moisture and 45 tons of whale? The answer, of course, is this wonderful humpback with its own rainbow filter (if you're impatient, the action starts at 0:30)
Humpback whale breath can skyrocket an astounding 13 feet (about four metres) into the air, sending a fine mist of water up with it. If the sun is shining, this often produces a rainbow above the marine behemoth, but you have to be in just the right spot to see it! Captured off the coast of California by Mark Girardeau of MGMedia, this drone footage is just the thing you need to brighten up your week.
