This video certainly didn't end the way we'd expected! Tourists in South Africa's Kruger National Park got quite the show when they spotted a tiny water thick-knee bird (Burhinus vermiculatus) in the clutches of a leopard.
Amazingly, the bird escaped into the water, but since leopards can clock an impressive 36 miles per hour (57 kph) and are pretty capable swimmers, we're going to guess the big cat wasn't as interested in this mini-meal as it appeared.
Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to play with your food?
