We've seen their domesticated cousins doing it, but it turns out wild cats can roll over and "play dead" when the need arises, too. Just watch this African leopard have a go when confronted with a growling foe. 

To us, this looks like a territorial skirmish that sees one feline opponent tumbling down a bank in a less-than-elegant attempt at submission. But let us know in the comments if you have other ideas.

Sometimes when you meet an aggressive leopard in the night it's best to just play dead...
