SEAL CAM: Watch baby seals enter the world
Baby seals, anyone? Then proceed directly to Seal Cam.
10 years agoWhy thank you, Audubon. This is just what we needed! This 24-hour burrow cam comes to us from Maine's Seal Island, where over 500 breeding pairs of puffins come to nest. The Seal Island colony was decimated by excessive hunting in 1887, and only survives because of aggressive conservation efforts. Most of the new "founding feathers" were brought to the island from nearby Newfoundland. So what you're seeing is a big success story in action!
