Sentry Island – a mile-long strip of land off Canada's northern coast – is home to just a handful of polar bears. An abundance of food on the island means that the animals are less likely to clash over their meals and this brings a new level of tolerance to the small bear community. "When living is easy, they [the polar bears] really maximise on that," says wildlife filmmaker Kelsey Eliasson in this behind-the-scenes clip taken during the filming of Bears: Ultimate Survivors. Reduced competition with other bears seems to leave more time for play and relaxation ....
