Take one hammock and two furry interlopers, and the resulting cuteness – well, it's hard to bear.

When an unsuspecting homeowner walked out into her backyard in Warren County, New Jersey recently, she saw something that gave her paws: three black bears climbing all over her hammock. The two cubs got quite the workout, while momma bear mostly stood by.

Black bears have been experiencing a population increase in the US since the 1980s, which has caused their interactions with humans to spike as well. The animals are often drawn to homes by the promise of food (often in the form of unsecured garbage). While these hammock-lounging furballs are unbearably adorable (how many bear puns have you spotted so far?), it’s important to report any unwanted guests to your local wildlife officials.
