Just as we were getting over the cuteness of this mud-rollicking pangolin, another armoured animal comes along to disrupt office productivity. Or should we say 'shuffles along'. As far as we can tell, you're watching a nine-banded armadillo gathering up leaves to line its nest. The backwards-shuffle strategy might look a little counterproductive, but it apparently allows the armadillo to scoop up more nesting material in one go, and all that stopping and starting probably helps it to reorient itself when it veers a little off course (this behaviour has been seen in captive armadillos, too). And the Michael Jackson tune? Apparently, armadillos just love the King of Pop.
