This adorable video comes to us from YouTuber David Pangborn, who spotted the tumbling bear on a recent trip through Alaska's Denali National Park. Rolling in the grass is a great way to scratch an itch or dislodge any pesky insects that might be bothering you, but it's very possible that this giant gymnast is just having a bit of fun.
Just like we do, bears play for a number of reasons, but research shows an increase in playtime when food is abundant. (Nobody likes to play when they're hangry.) Happy bears point to a healthy ecosystem, so this grizzly's rolling antics have park officials smiling along with the rest of us.
