It's been said that Korean sculptor U-Ram Choe's creations are equal parts organism and art. His latest project, 'Kinetic Insecta', is no exception. When switched on, the seemingly abstract contraption unfolds to reveal an insect-inspired lamp, complete with mind-bogglingly ornate wings that cycle through an elegant flapping motion. Needless to say, the blend of motor and metal beautifully mimics its namesake.
